This was all around a great experience. We made an appointment with Empowered Electrical for an estimate to have a fan & also a chandelier where there was no electrical outlet installed. Brandy was the first person to represent the company with professionalism & kindness. We have an open floor plan house, which I'm using the areas differently than what the builder planned, therefore I needed to have electrical power ran to 2 different areas. The first guy that came (Tony), was very professional & so pleasant & he gave us an estimate after checking out the work needed. They would have to run the electricity from 2 different areas. We were pleased with his estimate & decided to proceed with getting a fan in the area we use as a living room & finally a chandelier over my dining table in the area we use as our dining area. Our appt was set per my request for the following week & 2 awesome workers (Jonathan & Steve) showed up when scheduled. They surveyed the work needed & got started. All was good till I saw insulation coming out of the ceiling holes they drilled. Haha....I say that because the guys were using a different truck & they didn't have their shop vac. I panicked, but the guys were swift to call the owner, Billy, & he bought a brand new shop vac for them to use here. Talk about service! They completed the job in a timely manner. Poor guys were working so hard but they still were so pleasant with us, especially me who drove them crazy on how I wanted the line of sight between the fan & chandelier to be perfectly symmetrical. Oh the patience they had & both were saying that it wasn't a problem, they just wanted me happy & they'd do whatever I wanted! (Try to find a company like that today! I dare you! 😉 ) Using a laser light & measuring tools & their eyesight & my eyesight, we got it! The absolute worst part was Jonathan having to go up in our attic to run wire but his helper Steve was so in tuned, it was a very quick attic visit for Jonathan. They worked great together. The other worst part was putting the chandelier together, which came with a million pieces & also missing pieces but Jonathan with Billy's advice, were able to figure out what to use as a replacement & it all worked out great! When they were here, we decided to purchase one of Empowered's surge protectors because our area gets a lot of lightning strikes being we live in a hilly part of Minneola. Now we feel safer. I know this is long & thank you if you haven't dropped off by now but I wanted to explain how much we appreciated the awesome professional gentlemen that came over to help make my home more comfortable & beautiful. It was like they were working on their own homes too, which is always a bonus. That new shop vac Billy brought over was the icing on the cake as it picked up every bit of mess that came with the job! Thank you Empowered (Jonathan, Steve & Billy) for every part you all contributed to this job. You were all amazing & love how your business is so well organized & professional for just being a family neighborhood type business. My mother had an issue with her water heater not working. I'm her go to when it comes to helping with home maintenance. I tried the breakers with no luck so we called a plumber, they said it was electrical, i dont mess with anything more than breakers and basic wiring so I called empowered. Billy picked up on a Sunday morning. I was fully expecting to tell my mom she'll have to wait a day or two to have hot water. To my surprise Billy was out the same day. He found the issue, got her back up and running and his price was more than fair. I will always recommend Empowered to anyone looking for someone who is knowledgeable and honest.

We had a wonderful experience!! Empowered Electric came out to our house this week for an estimate on wiring for a free-standing garage we are building. When Billy the owner opened our electric panel to our home, he saw right away we had a problem that needed immediate attention. They coordinated with SECO to disconnect service and completed the repair in record time. They replaced our panel and installed a new 200amp meter main assembly and surge protectors to help protect our electronic devices and appliances from damaging voltage spikes. All permitting and inspections were taken care of to make sure our service was safe, reliable and code compliant. They also installed a generator interlock kit and generator inlet; this will allow us to safely connect a portable generator during a power outage without the use of extension cords. Billy and his team are highly trained professionals that will do an amazing job for you for an affordable price. Once you meet Billy, you have a friend who cares about customer safety and wellbeing and is truly one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Many thanks to you Billy and your team!!
Awesome, awesome, awesome!! It was a Sunday morning and I posted on Facebook saying my hot water heater only had partial power a plumber told me. My son knew some people from the Empowered team and they were here within 1 hour to get my issues resolved. I now have my hot water back and I highly recommend this team. Wow!!! 🙏
Called Billy for an after hour project for a job that was being put on the market right away, he sent Johnathon out and within an hour or so everything was taken care of with removing old range hood and adding outlet for microwave. On top of that he even helped add microwave while onsite as well.

We contracted with Empowered Electric to update and replace our 48 year old 200amp electric service. I thought the pricing was very fair and scheduling was easy. Modesto and Chance were our electricians assigned to install our order. We were extremely impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. The coordination of services between the power company and County inspection was seamless. The job was completed in under eight hours, including cleanup! Empowered Electrical Services does work that is better than perfect. Based on our experience I think they would do excellent work for you in a new construction situation. But where they have really, really excelled for me was fixing problems my builder left for me in a brand new house. I wanted you to know this because if you have concerns about your home or business please call Empowered Electrical Services to make safe and reliable installations. They swapped out a circuit panel for me, which as it turns out, was the root cause of lights flickering in my kitchen ceiling. How scary. It was not safe but the skilled professionals at Empowered Electrical Services fixed everything and now my home is safe and my kitchen lights do not flicker anymore. They are the best. Thank you! The Empowered Electrical Services team was amazing. Lost power to half the house yesterday around 6pm they immediately came out looked everything over and was going to fix it on the spot. I said you can just come back in the morning by 8:30am they were here by 11:00 everything was back on and working. Had the outdated electrical panels replaced with larger ones and some new outlets in the garage on their own circuits because of the issues I was having using more than one tool at a time. Along with a new outlet on another wall in case I wanted to move my large freezer. The guys that did the work were nice, and they did great work

Billy was fantastic! He came out initially to take a look at running some electric for a gate on our property. We were also having trouble with some 4-way switches in our living room. We have been using Empowered Electrical Services for the last year and they still continue to amaze us with their quick response time, fair but still competitive pricing and knowledge of work being conducted. I posted a review after just starting to use them but feel a more updated review was needed after using them a multitude of times and still extremely satisfied with them!
I was having issues with flickering lights in my house and had Empowered Electrical come out to diagnose a potential issue. While examining the interior panel, Brian noticed that part of it had been fried (likely from a power surge at some point). I was provided with several options as to how I could proceed and ultimately went with replacing the interior and exterior panels with a surge protector and upgraded 200 amp system for possible EV use in the future. The team completed everything on the designated date and provided ample updates on the process. Billy, the owner, took his time to call me and let me know about the progress each step of the way after agreeing to the proposal. I'd recommend this company to anyone.

We recently hired Empowered Electric to install a 220 line by the dock, and we could not be happier with the experience. From the very beginning, their communication and responsiveness were outstanding. We called, and they were out the very next business day to evaluate everything. During the visit, they identified that our existing electrical box was outdated and no longer up to code. Within just a couple of days, they had someone onsite installing the new shore power 220 line, panel box and more. The finished work looks fantastic, clean, professional, and very well done. Billy, the owner, was incredible to work with. He’s high-energy, knowledgeable, honest, and genuinely fun to be around. You can tell he truly cares about his customers and his company’s work. Modesto, who completed the installation, was equally impressive, professional, detail-oriented, and clearly takes pride in his craftsmanship. It’s hard to find companies today that are prompt, kind, skilled, and professional all at once, but Empowered Electric absolutely delivered. Great experience with Empowered Electrical from the site visit, quote, to the actual repairs. The team was courteous and skilled. They handled the entire preparations for the site repairs from permit , power shut off/power on, inspection, and clean up.
We used Empowered to help us with installing recessed lighting in our living area and also moving fixtures that previous owners had installed off center. Billy gave us several package options to choose from based on all our ideas we had. We were able to customize and get exactly what we needed for our budget. The crew that did the work was really friendly. They even offered to help us move our couch before they left when they heard we were trying to put a new rug down. The work was quality and we were very happy with the whole process.
I had Empowered out previously for an issue with a circuit breaker which went very well. We had discussed putting in a surge protector on my outside electrical box which I decided to go ahead with. Billy from Empowered Electric was highly recommended on our local community social media pages. I contacted him to check out a repair that another company was WAY overpricing. During the repair, he went to check my main electrical panel (thank God he did!) and found it was severely damaged (a fire hazard). He and his team moved quickly to pull an emergency permit and had their crew, SECO and the county inspector all here by the next morning first thing. They completed the repair quickly, professionally and were just awesome to work with! Billy personally even stopped back by to ensure everything looked good and our power was restored by SECO. All of his team from Brandy to Brian, John and Modesto were very pleasant and provided great customer service start to finish. I will use them for any/all future electrical needs and recommend them to everyone!

Needed a bathroom vent fan installed in our 1950’s home. We ran into some unexpected challenges due to our interior walls being constructed of concrete block, but our techs Johnathan and Bryan were able to modify the original work plan and get the job done in the same day! We had some flickering lights at our home in Clermont, and Empowered Electrical Services did an expert job troubleshooting them! He had to inspect our electrical panel, and made repairs to fix our flickering lights. Very pleased! Look forward to having a generator installed by them soon!
Electrician in Clermont. Look no firther than Empowered Electrical Services. They came out and discovered a super old electrical panel that had a large burned spot at the bottom and was basically on the verge of causing a serious problem. I’m honestly grateful they caught it when they did because it could have easily turned into a dangerous situation for our home and family.Thank God the Empowered team identified the issue right away and walked us through everything clearly. They moved fast, got the panel situation handled, and had us back up and running in less than a day.The professionalism, knowledge, and care they showed meant a lot to us. I lost partial power and initially thought it was a blown circuit breaker. I reached out around 6:30 pm and Billy was at my home within 30 minutes. He quickly diagnosed the issue and determined it was a power company problem. He was friendly, courteous and professional. I would highly recommend.
I was trying to swap out my water heater, but when I turned the breaker off, I was still getting power. It was late in the day and most companies were telling me next day at the earliest but Johnathon came out within the hour and found a dead lizard completing the circuit behind the main panel and got me hot water to shower that night. He was knowledgeable, professional, and kept things very clean. Would highly recommend!

They came up with a solution to our problem I hadn’t even considered that was code compliant, functional, and much better aesthetically. I noticed after they left that they had taken the time to place some extra sealant in a difficult to reach area that almost no one would notice, going above and beyond to ensure a long lasting product for us. Had a few electrical issues that came up suddenly. Reached out to Empowered Electrical and they got us scheduled quickly. Trenton came out within the time frame quoted. He explained the process in which he was going to evaluate everything and went straight to work. He was pleasant and kept us up to date as he worked. He even took the time to explain things and give a little history on older electrical processes (our house is older). He didn't just do the work, he took the time to offer us education and information, which as a homeowner is valuable. A genuinely pleasant and honest person. We are happy we used Empowered Electrical and it was very nice meeting Trenton. Will absolutely use them again for future needs.
We had an electric range delivered and due to the electric outlet sticking out too far it couldnt be pushed flush with the wall. John and Brian came the same day and did a great job solving the issue.
Billy and his team over at Empowered Electric are top notch. I initially called them because I was having a one of my outlets not allowing my washer to stay on and as they came and did their assessment and discovered that my panel which is over 26 years old was starting to have discovered wires, which is an indication of it beginning to fail and potentially become a fire hazard. They suggested that I get both of my breaker panels replaced because it's beginning to fail, and if I don't take care of it now, it could be a larger issue later. So I decide to move forward with him and his team and they were able to take care of everything in one day. They handled all the logistics and kept me informed every step of the way. Even going out of their way to make sure my family was comfortable, even though we had no power throughout the day. I highly recommend this company for small or large electrical situations at their property.
We had a loose wire in one of our outlets that connected to ceiling lights in another room. The first electrician we called gave up and ask us to call someone else. We called Empowered and the next day Trent their tech came out and absolutely worked every angle to find and solve our problem. Had it not been for Trent’s tenacity we would’ve had to cut drywall and re-wire the hallway which would’ve been time and cost consuming. We Very much appreciated the effort Trent showed today and the team at Empowered.
